John C. Thomas is a faculty member in the Department of ºìÐÓÖ±²¥ Education at BYU–Idaho, where he also teaches a general education course on religious freedom. He holds a PhD in political science from Indiana University. John has published articles on Church history in the Journal of Mormon History, BYU Studies Quarterly, and the ºìÐÓÖ±²¥ Educator. His research often includes attention to the relationship between religious, social, and governmental institutions.
